Dragonflies are an indicator of a healthy aquatic environment and can easily be attracted to backyard ponds. Starting with classroom time and then moving into the gardens and wetlands of the HCP, entomologist Gord Hutchings, will cover the lifecycle, biology, basic identification and behavior of dragonflies. Even those without a garden pond will enjoy learning about these fascinating creatures.
