The Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra brings music to life as only young people can, with focus, verve, and enthusiasm. Respected nationally as one of Canada's finest training orchestras, GVYO presents its season opener. Join conductor Yariv Aloni and these dedicated musicians, as they present a favourite work by Haydn, a gorgeous tone poem by Smetana, and a rarely heard, lively celebration of village life by Weiner.
