Haunted

As Autumn moves ever forward, the nights grow long and chill, the shadows lengthen, the wind howls. Haunted, from October 16th to November 3rd, will feature artists’ interpretations of the many ways that we can be haunted. By definition, ‘haunted’ can mean frequented by a ghost, or showing signs of worry, or even something that remains in one’s mind, be that a piece of music, a memory, a dream.
“Be afraid, be very afraid” (Veronica Quafie, The Fly) but, shoulders back, onwards and upwards for the Meet-the-Artists Reception on Friday, October 25th from 7 to 9. We’ve got your back!
Operated by the Society for Arts on the South Island (SASI), whose mission statement is to nurture British Columbia arts and culture … through the production and support of showcases of fine art and craft, the provision of arts education programmes, public performances, and special community cultural events, Coast Collective is looking forward to being just a little bit scared.
The Coast Collective Art Centre is open 11:00 to 5:00 Wednesday through Sunday. You can reach us at 250-391-5522 or email [email protected] for more information. https://www.coastcollective.ca/
