HAT Gets Eventful - Broom Bash
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Broom Bash on private, beautiful covenant that includes a chili lunch (12-1pm) and the opportunity to cool down in a on site lake. HAT will provide all the tools, snacks and gloves but if you have any loppers or good tools for pulling broom, we appreciate if you could bring them. we will be doing some carpooling from our office as it is a bit of a drive from Victoria. This is a can't miss event as you are not only helping to remove invasive species but you get to actually visit one of HAT's covenants and talk with the property owners (they are also the chili chefs).
You can come out to the property whenever you would like and stay for any length of time, any help is really appreciated by HAT and the landowners. It will be a good time to chat and catch up with HAT staff as we will all be present and some of our board members will be out as well. Being allowed on a conservation covenant is not something that comes along everyday, this will be a special day to help keep a promise that we have made with multiple parties.
Please RSVP by calling Peter 250-995-2428 or e-mail [email protected] Once you have RSVP'd we can give you the map and address.
