20th Anniversary Celebration!
The Harbour City Jazz Festival is an annual celebration of Nanaimo’s talented jazz students from John Barsby Community School, Wellington Secondary School, and Nanaimo District Secondary School. The festival gives students the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents for the community in a high-end concert venue.
The 20th annual JazzFest welcomes special guest artists Christine Jensen and Cory Weeds. The event will also feature an alumni band made up of graduates over the past 20 years.
The night will include performances by ensembles from each school as well as collaborations with their instructors and guest artists. Don’t miss this chance to see some of the best present and future jazz talent together in one of the country’s premier concert halls!
Note: Ticket revenues go towards fundraising efforts for the school music programs. Parents and families can ensure the ticket revenue goes to their child's school when purchasing by applying a code for buying online or calling the Ticket Centre:
