Sarah presents “Happy Birthday Scarlatti and Saint-Saëns and Liszt and Bizet!”, a programme of classical piano in Cumberland's intimate venue Studio Live. Join Sarah for this celebration of composers born in October! (Please note: There will be another seating of this programme on Friday evening, October 12th at 7:30pm.)

A highlight of Sarah's programme will be Bizet's "Songs from the Rhine River," a magical collection of piano gems.

This performance is part of Sarah's four-concert series "Sarah Hagen: Live at Studio Live."

Individual tickets for this concert are $23. Season Passes for all four concerts in the series are $80.

Sarah is pleased to present a new four-concert series, making the most of the gorgeous grand piano at Studio Live in the Comox Valley.

Friday, October 12: Happy Birthday Scarlatti and Saint-Saëns and Liszt and Bizet! - Celebrating some of Sarah's favourite composers born in October.

Friday, November 9: Bagatelle or Bust - Exploring the Bagatelles of Couperin, Beethoven, Bartok and more.

Friday, February 8: Debussy: Preludes, Book 1 - Following an extensive introduction into these marvellous works, Sarah will perform the complete first book of Debussy's Preludes.

Friday, March 15: Wonder Women! - The Sequel - Spurred on by an enthusiastic response to the first edition of "Wonder Women!", Sarah delves into the compositions and stories of Clara Schumann, Marianne von Martinez, Cécile Chaminade, and others.

Concerts are offered twice on each date with performances in the morning and the evening. Start times are 10:30 am and 7:30 pm, with the exception of the morning concert on November 9th which will begin at 11 am.
