Is your condo or townhouse complex (strata) planning a large repair or renewal project, such as replacing all the windows, or major foundation work?

Our guest panelists are council members who have completed large projects, are willing to share their experiences, offer tips and answer questions. If your strata is facing a large project, this seminar will be an opportunity to learn from others who have gone through what you are facing. This seminar will be especially helpful for self-managed stratas.

Topics include:

*What prompted the project? Depreciation Report? Unforeseen issue?
*Were there any challenges getting owners to approve the project?
*What process was used to plan the project or get bids?
*Who managed the project: engineer, project manager, property manager, strata council?
*Did the project stay within scope, were there changes or surprises?
*Did the project stay on budget? How much of a contingency was allowed for?
*How long did the project take from start to finish?
*What went right, what went wrong?
*What did you learn? What would you do differently next time?
