Halloween is coming, and the fun starts early at Halloween: The Pre Party Dance!

This free, all-ages video dance is a celebration of community, inclusion, and fun for kids, youth, adults, families, and people with diversabilities. Join in person or participate virtually through Zoom.

Enjoy music videos on large screens, a professional lighting and sound system, blacklight face painting, temporary tattoos, arts and crafts, prizes throughout the evening, and a free concession with drinks and snack foods. Costumes are encouraged, so dress up early and show your Halloween spirit.

Nanaimo Community Dances offer a safe, welcoming, accessible, non-alcoholic space for anyone who enjoys dancing, including people who may not be able to attend other dance events. The lighting setup uses no strobe lights, and care is taken to minimize fast flashing effects.

The dance is free to attend in person or online, thanks to the support of the Central Island Community Council.

Visit www.virtualcommunitydances.com for full details and instructions for joining through Zoom.
