HAARD THE BAND Not influenced by specific bands, so much as eras that resonate feelings of hope and renewal. Indisputably there's an irrepressible spirit in the song composition of Haard. Recognized as that �You really have to hear these guys, NO REALLY!� band, Haard's members consist of Patrick Bentilead vocals and lead guitar, Ed Mortenson the percussionist extraordinaire and Jeff Eager onbass. 2010 marks the release of their d�but album �Savour The Flavour�. The amazing fusion of this power house gives birth to whimsical tongue and cheek lyrics, to songs that echo a time when music was pure and strait from the heart, Haard is that band that will distinguish an era marked in 2010. This album containing some serious influential contribution from some of the industry�s best, including Ian Thornley's contributing vocals on "Moody" and Mike Mangini, the Guinness World Record holder as the fastest drummer on earth ("He's not human," says Benti),playing on "Harvard Yard." The album was produced and mixed by John Whynot (Big Wreck, Dave Matthews, Blue Rodeo) and recorded in various studios in Toronto and Boston and LA. When it comes down to it, it's all about savoring those good ol' rock 'n' roll moments.
