Shampoo Hair Bar is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a fashion show and fundraiser at the Victoria Event Center on Saturday, September 17th. It is called Grunge Gone Glam, and we are raising money for the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association in order for them to build a youth center and provide programing for youth in Victoria - all the proceeds will be donated to them. Lark and Sparrow, Paradise Boutique, Citizen and Blush are the stores participating. We also have a young up and coming designer (from Victoria, residing in Vancouver), Sarah Runnalls (Sarah Runnalls Collection). She has been invited to participate in the next Toronto Fashion Week, and has been involved in the past three Vancouver fashion weeks. The event is MC'd by Jeremy Baker (of the Zone) and our DJ is Matt (aka beat thieph). Post fashion show guests are invited to stay for the music and drinks... Doors open at 8pm.
Tickets are $20 at Shampoo Hair Bar, 1272 May St, or Paradise Boutique, 613 Johnson St, and this is a 19+ event.
