After playing to an almost-sold-out crowd last fall, Groovin’ Hard Jazz Band returns to Hermann’s for one appearance this spring. Named after a favourite tune of the Doc Severinsen and the Buddy Rich big bands, Groovin’ Hard lives up to its name and delivers. With the standard big band line up of saxes, trumpets, trombones and rhythm section, and two seasoned vocalists Alf Small and Linda Billings, Groovin’ Hard will entertain with big band, jazz, Latin and contemporary tunes from the 1920s to the present. Plan to attend and you won’t be disappointed.
