It is time to get fit making music together as we begin rehearsals of the Greater Victoria Community Marching Band, preparing for the 2019 Victoria Day Parade! Rehearsals begin next week--Thursday, January 24, 7:15-8:15, in the band room at Gordon Head Middle School. Wear something that is reflective because we will likely go out and march as well as rehearse in the band room.
This is our 3rd year marching in the Victoria Day Parade and it has been a blast every year. It is a really fun way to get fit and be a part of a very special group. Marching bands have a very special and unique camaraderie. If you have been a part of a marching band, you know what we are talking about. :)
