Great Strides Walk

Every year across Canada, friends, family and co-workers of people with cystic fibrosis lace up their walking shoes to participate in Great Strides�: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis.
The walk starts at 2:00pm but come early at 1:00pm to register. The registration tent can be found at Westwood Lake's second beach and the walk is 6km on fairly easy terrain. Drinks and snacks will be provided after the walk, thank you to Thrifty Foods at Longwood Station and the Kinsmen & Kinettes of Nanaimo for their donations.
