he New Orford String Quartet was formed in 2009 by four accomplished musicians from the Montreal and Toronto Symphonies as a reincarnation of the illustrious quartet that defined Canadian chamber music for 26 years till it disbanded in 1991. Their plan is to �revolutionize the concept of string quartet playing in Canada, bringing together four stars of the classical music field for an extremely limited touring schedule on a project-by-project basis.�

At ArtSpring they will play Beethoven Op. 135, a Canadian piece and a large romantic quartet, most likely Tchaikovsky.
