Graham Beard: Fossils of Vancouver Island

Graham Beard is a former High School teacher, a biologist and fossil collector, and has significant paleontology expertise. He is the President of the Vancouver Island Paleontology Museum Society. A part of his world class collection of 20,000 artifacts is on display in the Museum. Graham has authored a book on paleontology and continues to lecture on the subject. He works with the Qualicum Beach Museum, and has been collecting fossils on Vancouver Island for 40 years.
Fossils: Keys to the Past is a slide & lecture presentation with a question/discussion period to follow. In addition, many fossils from our area and other parts of the world will be on display.
Doors open at 6:00 (gourmet snacks and treats will be available)
