Plan to attend the God's Acre Candlelight Tribute at the Veteran's Cemetery at Gorge Vale Golf Course on Thursday, May 29.

What: God's Acre Candlelight Tribute
Where: Gorge Vale Golf Course (entry off Colville Road)
When: Thursday May 29th, 2014 at 7 p.m.

General Herb Pitts, MC.CD., Retired, will be the principal speaker at the tribute ceremony, and will be joined by Her Worship Barbara Desjardins, Mayor of Esquimalt. The ceremony is sponsored by Esquimalt Dockyard Branch 172 of the Royal Canadian Legion and Veteran Affairs Canada. The public is invited to attend this event, which is being held a week before the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings (D-Day).
