Youth after-school programs are back! Need a boredom-buster after school? Lots of low cost/no cost drop-in programs for youth are now up and running – and include yummy snacks!
“The Recreation & Culture Department is offering drop-in and free or low cost programs in response to feedback from local youth,” says Margaret Lukban, Program Supervisor. “They want to hang out, eat, be physically active and have fun, and we are offering all that this season in our programs!”
Girls Inc. is a $4 drop-in program for girls in Grades 2 to 5. Build confidence and comfort in physically active games. Mondays from 3-4:30pm at the Sportsplex.
