To mark the upcoming International Women's Day, and raise awareness about the complex challenges confronting many girls in the developing world, the Cowichan Intercultural Society is pleased to offer a free screening of Girl Rising (www.girlrising.com), a remarkable movie that celebrates the strength of the human spirit and calls audiences to rise and do something in support of helping girls around the world access education.
After the movie there will be a small panel discussion.
