One girl with courage is a revolution.
Girl Rising is an innovative film about the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world. It presents the remarkable stories of nine girls around the world born into unforgiving circumstances. The film uses powerful storytelling to deliver a simple, critical truth: Educate Girls and you will Change the World.
This film is presented by Climb For Change: Educated Women for Educating Girls 2013 Campaign. This team of 13 energetic women completed a charity climb of Mt. Albert Edward in September. Proceeds from the evening (and the charity climb) will go towards the Plan Canada: �Because I am a girl� Girls Scholarship Initiative.
Because I am a Girl is a global initiative to end gender inequality, promote girls� rights and lift millions of girls � and everyone around them � out of poverty.
