You’re invited to a Garden Party! On Sunday, July 10 from 1 to 4, Open the gate into a charming Victorian garden and step into a unique piece of local history.   

At Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, the work of volunteers brings an 1865 historic family home back to life. View hand crafted wallpaper and oil cloth flooring. Ring a 150 year old door bell and stroll through heritage ornamental and vegetable gardens.  For the first time since 2019, we are hosting an afternoon garden party. Enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake while listening to award winning fiddlers on the lawn. Tour outdoor exhibits and the meticulously restored interior of one of the oldest houses in Victoria. Play Victorian lawn games, take home a souvenir from the giftshop, and meet our friendly heritage breed Brahma chickens.

Entrance to the grounds and house tours are free. $5 for tea and pound cake. Donations to the Ross Bay Villa Society will be gratefully accepted. All funds raised during this event go to the conservation, restoration and maintenance of the Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum. Please note that masks are required while touring the house interior.
