The 26th Annual Thanksgiving Studio Tour is a magical adventure around Gabriola Island visiting studios and seeing demonstrations. Painters, sculptors, potters, carvers, textile artists, jewellers, glass blowers, and more.

Go online to https://theartsongabriola.ca/ and preview artists' work, see the digital map you can use on your phone to navigate the island and learn more about the Tour.

Studios are marked with number signs and tall white flags, so it is hard to miss where the art is ready for viewing. Wear comfortable slip on shoes, as most studios are shoes off.

Brochures will be available at the ferry terminal, at Tour Central located at Folklife Village upstairs at Nova Boutique and Gallery and at various retailers on the island. There will be food in the South end at the Moveable Feast food truck outside the Community Hall and facilities for your convenience. Ground Up will be open until 3pm in the village, the Surf Lodge for lunch and dinner, Woodfire Restaurant for dinner (make reservations), and Page's Resort 'lil Market has some snacks too.

We have a raffle this year for an original Tony Grove painting. 12x12" framed, A Cabin on the Beach, valued at $1,100. Tickets available at Tour Central 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 5 for $20. The ferry ride is only 20 minutes from Nanaimo and ferries run every 30 minutes. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, so make a day of it and come and experience the Isle of the Arts and all it has to offer. All presented to you by the Gabriola Arts Council.
