The Gabriola Lions Club presents its 22nd Annual Concert-on-the-Green featuring Completely Creedence, a Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Tribute band that invites you to be transported back in time to an era of intense passions.

Creedence Clearwater Revival, starting at 6:00pm, was a popular rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their musical style encompassed the roots rock and swamp rock genres. Hits include "Proud Mary," "Who"ll Stop the Rain," "Green River," "I Put a Spell On You," "Suzie Q," and many others.

This four piece musical group from Vancouver Island has been recording and performing together for over a decade and have been selling out theatres on Vancouver Island at much higher prices. Buy your tickets early to ensure you are a part of this sense-sational visual and auditory experience and join us on an evening of musical experiences as we transport you back in time and put a spell on you.

Our opening act starts at 5:00pm is The Great Divide, Canada's Tribute to The Band. The Band are considered one of the most popular and influential groups ever in American music. They defined the Woodstock generation and their music is a part of the Canadian and American landscape. There was a collective sound to “The Band”, but it made up five distinct individual voices and instruments mixing folk, blues, gospel, R&B, classical, and rock & roll. More than any other group, they put rock & roll back in touch with it’s roots. The Great Divide perform the music of The Band from their careers with Bob Dylan, through Music From Big Pink and up to The Last Waltz. You’ll hear their hits like “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down” and “Up on Cripple Creek” and many more.

The gates open at 3:30 PM and the afternoon kicks off with several activities: for younger kids there will be Face Painting and Li'l Gabe, the Power Squadron Boat; for slightly older kids there will be demonstrations and games with the Scouts and for adults there will be a Silent Auction.

Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the golf club's natural amphitheatre setting for this great show. There is ample free parking on site and hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks and beer will be available.
