This introductory photography course covers basic manual camera operation(ISO, shutter speed, aperture) and briefly touches on post-production solutions (including Adobe Bridge, Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop, digital printing and presentation methods). This course is perfect for students who have no previous photography experience, or as a refresher for those who may have worked with photography in the past and are looking to revisit its basics. Critiques, in-class exercises, individual meetings and image-based presentations will provide technical and creative learning opportunitie throughout the 12-week course. Note: A DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera and access to a computer for post-processing are required to complete assignments. Instructor: Meghan Krauss Tuition: $425 (36 hrs)
