Full Moon Quintet
Classic straight-ahead jazz with the Full Moon Quintet is on the menu for the launch of the fall Jazz at Crofton series.
Nanaimo drummer James McRae brings the stellar quintet, which includes pianist Miles Black, saxophonist Conn Stewart, bassist Ken Lister and guitarist Andrew Janusson, to the Crofton Hotel Pub on Sunday Sept. 7.
The series runs from 2 to 5 p.m. every Sunday. Musicians are invited to sit in during the last set of the afternoon.
The pub is at 1534 Joan Ave. in Crofton, a stone�s throw from the Saltspring Island ferry terminal. Admission is $10. For information, call 250-324-2245.
