The Friends of Urban Agriculture - Lantzville is finishing our information series on the controversial issue of urban agriculture and food security with a panel discussion with 4 local experts from Lantzville, VIU, and UBC.
Dr. Arthur Bomke is a soil scientist and Vice Chair of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) Agricultural Advisory Committee.
Louise Negrave is a professional agronomist, organic farmer and Lantzville resident.
Janine De La Salle is an urban planner with the firm HB Lannarc, a firm on the forefront of agricultural urbanism and green development.
Dr. Jenny Horne is an agriculture specialist at VIU and is the acting Manager of the VI Foodservice Co-op.
