From Plot to Narrative: A Story Writing Workshop
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
This full-day workshop by the most honoured storyteller in the US, Elizabeth Ellis, is designed for storytellers and writers alike. Ellis will lead the participants through exercises and discussion of the elements that build a story into a memorable reading or listening experience.
Elizabeth is a recipient of both the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Circle of Excellence Award from the National Storytelling Network. She is a frequent favorite at the National Storytelling Festival and the Teller-In-Residence Program of the International Storytelling Center.
This is a rare opportunity to take a workshop with this amazing storyteller and workshop leader -- an opportunity that shouldn't be missed. This may be the only time she offers a workshop on Vancouver Island. Do NOT miss this opportunity.
If you wish to hear her tell stories, she is performing on Friday, October 27, at the McMillan Arts Centre. Tickets for that event are available from the McMillan Arts Centre in Parksville.
This workshop will be of most interest to storytellers and writers of fiction or memoir.
