The ENABLERS are an explosive 4-piece dance band that know a lot about working the room and entertaining a crowd, wherever it may be. Their brand of sax fueled high-energy dance music has graced the stage of many a venue and private party up and down Vancouver Island, always leaving a long trail of spent dancers in their wake.

Combined, the band has over a hundred years music experience. Individually they all play multiple instruments and have all played in numerous bands in the area including; Gravy Train, Rubber Soul, Sons of Guns, Monkey Wrench to name a few.

The ENABLERS play all types of music, including Rock, Blues, Reggae, Country, Southern Rock, Blues Rock, Disco and more, sometimes putting their own twist on songs, thus enabling people to enjoy live music for their dancing and/or listening pleasure.

This excellent local dance band consists of Wes Weldon (guitars,vocals), Stuart Parenteau (bass,vocals), Colin Perry (sax,keyboard,flute,vocals) and Greg Harford (drums).

Their influences include everything from AC/DC to ZZ top, and their mantra is to "enable people to have a good time and to play every gig like it's our last". They are also people friendly, encourage requests and crowd participation.

The doors open at 7 pm, dancing starts at 8 pm. The kitchen is open until 10 pm and has good pub-style food and drinks at VERY reasonable prices.

Come check out legion 10′s new look, enjoy the licensed backyard patio, large dance floor, free pool table and friendly staff. This is definitely an up and coming club in Nanaimo!

The legion is a private club for members and guests~they are always recruiting and accepting new members. Everyone welcome!
