African Xylophone from Mali Fri. 10-Noon - $40 Mali is home to the ancient Mande Empire, where so much music was born. The playing style in Mali is different from the playing style in Guinea or Senegal. In this workshop, you will learn balafon rhythms from Mali.

Your Speed on Djembe Fri. 3:30-5 pm - $29 The secret to developing SPEED... Learn simple ways to build your speed and timing on hand drums like djembe, cajon, and congas. Building speed takes a particular learning approach, and in this workshop, you will be given all the tools needed. You will notice a difference in just a few minutes! Beginners are welcome and instruments are provided.
