La Société francophone de Victoria is proud to present its 19th French Fest happening from May 26 to 29, 2016. The main events will take place at the Centennial Square Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 6:00pm; all activities are fun and free.
Several local Francophone and Francophile music groups from Jazz to African World beats will be performing on both days on Radio-Canada’s stage. It will be the perfect opportunity to meet Francophone artisans who will be presenting their crafts.
Several Francophone organization booths will also be on site, a great opportunity to learn about their various services.
Free activities will be offered throughout the weekend to entertain the whole family. Zumba and Yoga Laughter sessions will not want to be missed! A first at French Fest, two “pétanque” fields will be available for the enjoyment of festival-goers. Face painting, a balloon sculptor and an inflatable game area will also be offered for kids’ delight.
It is with great pleasure that we invite the entire community to celebrate the Francophone culture, and will be the perfect occasion to share and enjoy different culinary specialities and play “pétanque”!
