On Monday, April 29, Forestry Friendly Communities will host the second annual Forestry Proud Day in Campbell River.
It's a day to celebrate forestry and logging and the many people who work in the sector. Whether you’re a forestry worker, student, or simply have friends and family in the industry, Forestry Proud Day is a chance for us to celebrate something we all have in common – the pride we share for the past, present, and future of forestry in BC.
The event will include a presentation, flag raising, BBQ, toque fundraiser ($20 cash), and fun activities. Not to mention, the opportunity to connect with others who are proud to work in forestry.
