The FolkWest Old-Time All Stars featuring Jeff Dill & Miriam Sonstenes will provide the music for the Lower Island FolkFest Society's next fundraising event leading up to FolkWest, Victoria's new folk music festival, now scheduled for Aug 20-21 at Royal Athletic Park.
Whether you want to dance or just enjoy the music, please join us and help us raise the money we'll need to bring you the best in folk music this August. Bring your partner or find one at the dance! Don't know how to dance? Don't worry, you'll learn the moves from our caller, Marian Rose, and do-si-do to the sweet sounds of old-time southern square dance tunes.
Doors open at 7:30, dance starts at 8pm
Tickets go on sale Feb. 12 at both Hemp & Company locations, Larsen Music, Long & McQuade, and Lyle's Place.
