FOLK NIGHT at the MAC - "Revolving Doors"

FOLK NIGHT AT THE MAC with “The Revolving Doors” The Revolving Doors will be playing at the McMillan Arts Centre on Friday, October 9 at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30). They were formerly known as the Alumni Band when performing at the MAC, as several members of the band attended the building for their Grade 3 schooling many years ago.
The band has now fixed on the name “The Revolving Doors” as they never know who, out of their ever-expanding and contracting-roster, will be available for rehearsing and performing. On October 9th, it will most likely be a combination of: Bill Naylor, Dean Williams, John Lundine, Ade Barnum, Larry Levlars, Bill Dellert and Liz DeBarros. Instruments will be swapped, lead singers will change and fun will ensue. Most band members play several different instruments and the bass guitar is used almost like “pass the parcel”.
They will be performing covers of many well-known and well-loved folk songs on acoustic instruments, so the electric guitars and dance tunes will be left at home this time.
Tickets $!5.00 & $12.00 for OCAC members and available for pre-sale at the MAC.
