5:00 PM to 6:15 PM

This weekly group class learns harmonized arrangements of traditional music in a fun and energetic setting. Players of all ages are welcomed. The music we focus on is mainly fiddle music from around the world, along with other traditional folk music and some contemporary material as well.

The tunes are tailored to each individual in the group to reflect their specific skill set. Fiddle/violin players and other bowed string players need to be able to play a major scale and a few simple tunes.

The group is appropriate for players up to Suzuki book 3 and RCM grade 4. Beginner to intermediate guitarists, pianists, penny whistle and other acoustic instruments are also welcomed. Fees are payable in September and February.

The first family member pays $200 per term, and each additional family member pays $50 per term. All class materials are included in the fees, but students must provide their own instrument.

Cost: Member: $200
Family: $250
