Michelle Cheramy is currently Associate Professor of Music at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Acclaimed for her “...sensitive, lyrical playing (and masterful technique)...” (The Telegram), Cheramy is an artist recognized for the beauty of her sound, the fluidity of her playing and her interpretive skills in a wide range of repertoire.
A compelling exponent of music from the eighteenth to the twenty-first centuries, Michelle enjoys a diverse performing career that embraces solo and collaborative work. All are welcome to observe as Dr. Cheramy leads UVic flute students in a masterclass.
