Flamenco is a beautiful and varied art form from Southern Spain.

Amity Skala is a full time flamenco dancer and teacher who brings 25 years of flamenco experience and knowledge to her classes. Enjoy learning in a friendly and welcoming studio setting where everyone works at their own pace.

Amity has been running flamenco dance classes in Nanaimo for over 12 years. This current class session will focus on general dance technique, choreography, and understanding the compas (rhythm structure) of a "Fandangos" (a popular 3-beat dance). Get a workout for your body, mind, and spirit! This class is suitable for continuing students and new students who love a challenge. Class content will be tailored to the level and ability of the attending students. All classes are open to men and women in good physical condition.

All workshops/classes and times are subject to cancelation or change if minimum enrolment is not met. Advance registration (including payment) is encouraged and appreciated to guarantee that classes run.
