The Rotary Club of Duncan and DV Media presents: “Five Weeks In Nepal”.

Producer Nick Versteeg showcases the volunteer work he and his team did in Nepal for the Rotary Club of Duncan. The first two short presentations will feature Duncan resident Susan Marshall of the Nepal Education Fund. Nick followed Susan in Kathmandu and Pokhara, where she was involved in getting education for underprivileged children with the help of individual sponsors and the Rotary Club of Duncan. The next presentation features Dr. Jeff Philips who volunteered his dental services to the Sherpa families in Khumjung.

In this video Nick Versteeg shows the three-day trek to the dental camp after his arrival at Lukla, the scariest airport in the world. Following the intermission Nick will show his very personal story spending five-weeks in Nepal, where the audience will see his experience to Everest Base Camp and his narrow escape when the Earthquake hit on April 25, 2015.
