The Parksville Fire Department recognizes Fire Prevention Week and will open its doors to the public on Sunday, October 3 from 10 am to 3 pm at the training centre (1159 Franklin’s Gull Road). This year’s theme is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety”, which will focus on learning the different sounds of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and how the sounds help save lives.
