A tough 25k and 50k with lots of elevation (4000 ft for the 25k and 9000 for the 50k) and spectacular views!
The Finlayson Arm 25k and 50k, is a mix of single track, double track and coastal mountain trails that are littered with Arbutus Trees and old growth forest. The run begins at Caleb Pike trail head at Gowlland Tod provincial park in Victoria, BC. The run has numerous difficult climbs: Mt. Finlayson, Mt. Work, and Mckenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill. Awesome views from all three of these difficult climbs and the Cascade Creek Waterfall while climbing out of McKenzie Bight, finishing at Twinflower Park (still to be finalized). See the Course page for more details.
Parking is available at the Caleb Pike trail head of Gowlland Tod Provincial Park and along Caleb Pike Road. As parking in this area is extremely limited, please try to car pool.
