add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Presented by Awareness Film Night and the Sierra Club of BC.
DamNation documents a change in US attitudes towards the damming of rivers, where they have actually been removing dams and working on restoring the rivers and their ecosystems to the natural state.
In BC, the provincial government has just approved construction of the Site C dam on the Peace River, which would flood 100 kilometers of prime farmland, First Nations Heritage Sites and sever the Yellowstone to Yukon wildlife corridor.
Post-screening discussion with Ana Simeon, Peace Valley campaigner from the Sierra Club of BC.
