The Vancouver Sun has called her �one of the hottest choreographers on the planet�. Victoria native Crystal Pite is indeed an extraordinary artist. She first started dancing with Ballet BC in 1988, then Ballet Frankfurt in 1996. Since her choreographic debut with Ballet BC, she has created amazing work throughout Canada and Europe, including three years as resident choreographer with Ballets Jazz de Montreal and an extensive relationship with Netherlands Dans Theatre where she is currently Associate Choreographer.

Through the marvels of modern technology, we are able to present a broadcast of a programme from Holland of �An Evening with Crystal Pite at the Netherlands Dans Theatre�. The showing will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17 in the ArtSpring theatre.

After the showing, we invite you to stay behind and attend the Annual General Meeting of the Island Arts Centre Society which begins at 4:00pm in the ArtSpring galleries.

You can also buy tickets by calling or visiting the Ticket Centre at ArtSpring during our normal business hours Monday to Friday 10:00am � 4:00pm and one hour prior to show times. Please come to the ArtSpring ticket centre in person if you would like to purchase tickets during the one hour time-slot prior to a show as we are not often able to answer phone-calls at this time.
