A major fibre arts exhibit will be opening at the new Art Centre At Cedar Hill Recreation Centre - FIBRES@THE HILL is being presented by eighteen Vancouver Island Artists who exhibit as members of VISDA (Vancouver Island Surface Design Association). �

With artists originating� from a variety of backgrounds� across North America, this unique Vancouver Island exhibit is highly creative and insightful.� It features weaving, embroidery, screen printing on fibre, dyeing, discharging colour, stitching, felting, tapestry, wearable art and embellishing with beads, metal, paper and threads.
