This year, the readings and music will be chosen to highlight characters in the Christmas narrative: Mary, Joseph, Herod, shepherds, angels, animals, and Magi.
As always, the service opens with a lone chorister, singing the beginning of the greatest story ever told: “Once in Royal David’s city stood a lowly cattle shed...” Freewill offering.
