Festival of Banners - My Favorite Things

 Each spring for 27 years, Nanaimo Art Gallery has organized the Festival of Banners, which has become a beloved tradition and an important community project. In March and April both professional and amateur artists and painters from every corner of Nanaimo, students, parents, teachers, seniors and you, come together to create beautiful one of a kind works of art to enliven and add vibrancy to our city streets. To participate, create an imaginative, original design based on the 2015 theme "My Favorite Things".

Entry forms can be found at Guest Services in Nanaimo North Town Centre, or www.nanaimoartscouncil.ca, or at the Nanaimo Arts Council Gallery in Nanaimo North Town Centre, or both Nanaimo Art Gallery locations 150 Commercial Street and Vancouver Island University.

Submit your completed entry form and design to Guest Services at Nanaimo North Town Centre. This event is co-presented by the Nanaimo Arts Council and Nanaimo Art Gallery.
