Kira Gill is senior concerto winner and Angela Pan is our junior winner. Both girls will perform their concerto music with the Consort Orchestra. Music by Mozart, Mussorgsky, Beethoven, Von Suppé, and two Slavonic Dances by Dvorak will be presented. Pippa Williams will conduct.
Tickets available at Volume One Bookstore on Kenneth St in Duncan , from members, and at the door. All seats $20.
This is our 30th year of our annual "Solo competition with orchestra" for young musicians 23 years of age and under.
The competition was held in mid November and we always look forward to these "winning" performances at our March concert. Open to all instruments and voice, each year.
Application form and info is put on our website each September.
