Join us on Saturday and Sunday Mornings for two exciting Family Films, A Turtle’s Tale 3D and Watermelon Magic! Follow the adventures of two sea turtles, Sammy and Ray and join Sylvie as she watches Watermelon Seeds ‘magically’ grow from seed-to-flower-to-fruit through stunning time lapse photography.

Watermelon Magic relays the tender story of a farmer’s daughter who believes she has magical powers. When Sylvie’s wand breaks, her mother comforts her by planting a tray of Sylvie’s own watermelon seeds for the young girl to nurture. The plants ‘magically’ grow from seed-to-flower- to-fruit.

Time-lapse sequences bring the garden to life on the Giant Screen. Through humor and drama, audiences experience the challenges and rewards of growing food, and the shared community of plants, soil, nature and people that make up a small farm.

In the animated, A Turtle’s Tale 3D, Sammy and Ray, leatherback turtles and friends forever, are captured and held captive in a state-of-the-art underwater restaurant-aquarium somewhere in the Middle East, but they soon devise an ingenious plan to free everyone and get back to their families.
