We are pleased to kick off the New Year with a very special Family Sunday inspired by current exhibition To Talk With Others. Local artist, Jesse Campbell, will be joining us and sharing a bracelet making activity and stories connected to his Metis and Cree roots. Learn new stories through this activity and celebrate unique perspectives. This Family Sunday will truly be about talking, listening to others, and of course creating art as a way to remember our shared stories. As usual, visitors can expect a wide variety of hands-on making and artistic experimenting, at the event.
For this Family Sunday we’re also delighted to welcome Hannah Gelderman as the Gallery’s new Family Sunday Coordinator!
Family Sunday happens every third Sunday of the month October – June, and is an afternoon of exploring hands-on art-making and ideas for all ages. This recurring program often features special guests like storytellers, artists, performers or musicians.
