Exhibitors include representation from the five Family History Clubs on Vancouver Island and the B.C. Genealogy Society of the Lower Mainland. Nanaimo Archives as well as Nanaimo and Ladysmith Historical Societies will be in attendance. Staff from the B.C. Archives in Victoria will be on hand to tell you about their vast holdings and how to access them. There will also be displays from the Military Museum in Nanaimo. Kenn Joubert , a local author, has done extensive research and written two books finding inspiration from his Huguenot ancestors. Laurie Patten, a Heraldic Craftsman and member of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada, will be in attendance. There will be an opportunity to purchase books from Interlink Bookstore of Victoria.
