Morrell Sanctuary Society for Environmental Education, a non-profit organization managed by volunteers who maintain the park and organize many programs for school children and the public.

We would like to welcome you and your family to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and some goodies. We have a fantastic trail for children to stroll down while they try to find all the Gnome homes which is also wheel chair accessible.

In our Woods Room you can come and try to identify the various things in our touchy feely box; learn about our educational programs, children's summer day camp and check out our mounted animals.

Our volunteers work hard to keep this wonderful private property maintained for the benefit of the people of Nanaimo and our nature interpreters are always learning new things to share with the students who come here on field trips. Your help by becoming a member or purchasing one of our prints or posters will help us achieve our goals.
