The 12th annual VIDEA Fair Trade Fair, organized by the Victoria International Development Association (VIDEA), is a unique community event featuring a Fair Trade Marketplace. Admission is by donation, and the fair will include a variety of handicrafts from around the world, free workshops, live music and food and by the Intl. Women's Catering Co-op and Level Ground Trading.
The Fair Trade Fair offers an opportunity for Victoria residents to shop with a conscience, offering an alternative to standard holiday gifts. By purchasing goods that ensure workers are paid a fair price and are working under safe conditions, Victoria shoppers can make ethical choices with their holiday dollar. VIDEA's Fair Trade Fair helps our community make a difference in lives of workers and producers in southern countries.
VIDEA invites everyone to shop with a conscience at the Fair Trade Fair, and support fair trade businesses. VIDEA is a non-profit society that provides public education on global issues.
