Faculty Concert Series: Bruce Vogt plays Schubert

An all-Schubert solo recital featuring pianist Bruce Vogt.
Vogt�s program offers one of Schubert�s earliest masterpieces, the poignantly beautiful A Major, D.664, as well as the sonata in A minor, D.845, one of the three sonatas that he managed to have published in his lifetime. Also on the program are Schubert�s Four Impromptus D. 899 and a
glimpse of his Moments Musicaux.
Informal pre-concert talk at 7:30 p.m.
This concert is part of IdeaFest 2014 (http://www.uvic.ca/ideafest/), a UVic event celebrating research and creativity.
